Easter eggs

Well, you know me... I don't like to do the same thing twice... and that applies to Easter Egg decorating. So this yr... we tried to use wax and dye them multiple times with different layers of wax... I guess kind of like Ukrainian type eggs? It worked pretty good... but took a looong time per egg... so we all got a bit bored with it... so towards the end Chy started using markers and wax on her eggs. It was fun but messy. We had to do the onion skin dyeing as the stores were out of the traditional egg dyeing colors and I thought this would work.

We also tried wrapping the onion skin around the eggs and then wrapping in cotton.... and then boiling them... This was our favorite technique. It was so quick and was like unwrapping a present when it was the big revel.... We will maybe try this one again...... lol.
