I made up some of these today just wanting to do something quick and easy for Hayley's teacher for Parent Teacher Conferences (p.s. Hayley is doing great in school). Aren't these just like a real Witches Hat???? But they taste a lot better!!! Believe me!
This is what we had for dinner last night!! It is hotdog mummies and potato ghosts with blood to dip mummies into!! It was fun..... we also had sunkist that we decorated the bottle to look like a pumpkin.
We have also had this week.... Bloody eyeballs and fingers (meatballs and cocktail hotdogs in BBQ sauce) with frog eyeballs (couscous)!!! The girls have had lunches that are around halloween theme too.... I found little cans of pop in candy corn flavor and pomegranet vampire blood flavor (the girls didn't like the candy corn but I didn't think it was to bad). Their sandwiches have been in the shapes of pumpkins and cats.... orange jello with a pumpkin face on them..... etc...

Scary huh!! These were taken after our ward Halloween Carnival. They girls were trying to wash out their black hair and white Geisha Girl faces. I couldn't pass up taking a picture of them. The last picture is Chyanne's bath water from rinsing out the black hair coloring.
This is Chyanne's band party. I thought some of the costumes were really cute. I liked the panda and the cotton candy one. Chy of course looked cute, as usual! She was part of the group that won the costume contest. I thought we did pretty good getting her ready with only 20 min to do her hair and makeup.

I thought they turned out really well so I thought I'd share them to give you an idea for your own for Halloween. They are really easy so if you want instructions let me know and I can walk you through it.
I happened to come upon these today and was so excited..... My sister Shauna took gymnastics from this guy (or Girl, I'm not sure) when I was growing up.. Found these on You Tube. Thought it would be a good laugh for you.
This was the first game that the band got to play at. The last one got cancelled because of 5 " of rain!
Chy sounded really good. (the rest of the band did too) It was fun watching the band and the cheerleaders! (I didn't really watch the football game)
As you can see I've added some blogs that I'm following and they are all hair blogs!! Go figure! Me wanting to do more hairdo's!! Well here are a few pics of the ones I did the last few days!! The first one Chy got comments from at least 65 people that she counted during 2-7 period at school!! It has been fun doing new styles! I keep missing hayley's as she leaves so much sooner than Chy and we are always rushing I forget to take a picture!! (sorry Hay!) Enjoy!!
Yes, I know my daughter is weird...... she thinks that taking baths with toads is fun.. She really wasn't taking a bath with them (since there was no water) but she was in there for quite a while with them that day. It was really cute and I swear she started to croak a little bit! Wasn't Tiny Tim so cute!!!!! Unfortunately Tiny Tim was only with a short time (one of the bigger toads thought he looked too much like food!! Oops!!!) We've now started keeping the little guys in their own container.
Well, we had a blast!!! Chyanne and I were supposed to have "nosebleed" seats (as seen in the 3rd pictures.. our seat were in the middle of that right top section !! This was taken from where we were able to move to!) but with a little bit of persistance, and talking to the right people we were able to get seats really close!! WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!!! It was fun to share this with Chyanne, and she was such a good sport!! The guys look great and put on a really good show! They performed songs from the original albums, then some songs they did on their own while the group wasn't together and then some from their new album!!! It was funny to see these 30 yr old women dressing like they were 12 again!! Quite funny!!! We were deaf for about 30 min after we left!!! I've put some of the video's on for your enjoyment. Well the day is finally here. I get to go see the NKOTB concert. Chyanne and I are going together. I have made her promise that she will be crazy with me!!! (she agreed under duress.) I have added a few more songs under my playlist for you guys so you can enjoy with me!!! LOL!!!!
Hopefully we can make it there with all the rain we have been having. We got about 6" of rain dumped on us yesterday. Roads were flooded out (it took 2 1/2 hrs for Jody to get home from 15 min away, as the road was completely flooded (up to rooftops on cars). Luckily he was in his truck and was able to drive down a road that wasn't as bad and didn't have to stay 8 hrs like some people did!!!
I'm finally getting around to posting our pictures from our trip to the Houston Aquarium we took before the Hurricane. It wasn't the greatest aquarium we have been to but it was still fun. I think seeing the white tigers was the best part, and of course playing and petting the sting rays. We learned how to get one of them to do back flips for us. It was pretty neat.
I thought I'd show you what the kids do every night they get a chance.... they like to go around the apartments and collect toads and gecko's. This was taken a couple of weeks ago, we are down a few as they have let them go so they can catch some more.... It is so funny how they will sit on top of each other. This was a triple stack... I think they were practicing their pyramid for cheerleading!
