Outside Christmas decorations

We can't decorate a lot without snow... but we made our palm tree look festive. Don't you wish you could decorate palm trees in Dec. LOL...... It made me smile every time I saw it.

More christmas pictures

I know these are out of order... but oh well. I picked a few of my favorite pictures of the kids and dogs opening their presents..... and after!

Chy's math homework

I still am not sure how this applies to math but it sure is good. Chy went way overboard on this project as she always does. It turned out so well. She spent so many hrs on it. Now you can enjoy.

The girls hair at the Renaissance festival

I did these hairdo's for the girls when we went to the Renaissance Festival. We got stopped all day with people looking at them and asking which shop we got them done. It was fun. I didn't have a lot of time before we left but they turned out pretty well.

Chy and her overall's

I love these pictures!! Chy got these overalls for a school project and thought they were so uncool.... but then started wearing them all the time. Somehow she put piper in the pocket.. and then the poor hamster. Love them though.

Sound of music cookies

I don't know what I was thinking.. but I thought it would be fun to make cookies for the whole cast and crew that I had worked with on the show. It was a lot of work but they turned out cute and everyone loved them . Each one was different. What was I thinking???!!!

Sound of Music- KHS

Chy's sign she helped to paint.

The red door I picked the color for and helped paint.
The arches that chy shaded

The whole cast and crew

The cast.

The children

The awesome set Mrs. Webber painted.

Me crawling up the mountain!

Chy's person on the mountain

Hayley's little guy skiing.

These pictures are from the Kingwood High Schools Musical. I was lucky enough to get to work on this production along with Chyanne and Hayley. It was a lot of work but so fun. We learned a lot and had a lot of fun hanging out with the cast. We got to help on the costumes, the set and I did a lot of hair. All of the braids and most of the other girls in the cast. I couldn't have done it without Chy. We all got to paint a little person on the set mountain as a cute little thing to say we worked on the set.

Piper and the basket

Piper found this basket the other day... it is a basket that I had some ties in that I was using in a craft I had made awhile ago. It was so cute,, she moved them all around and made a really soft bed. It was just the right size for her. It was the cutest thing!

Hayley's China Presentation

Hayley did this for her Gifted and Talented project this yr. She took a "Pretend" trip to China here in Houston and saw the Warriors and miniature buildings. Then she ate Chinese at a local restaurant here in town. It was a great day. Her presentation was a lot easier after actually seeing the stuff she was talking about. She got some fun souvenirs. We even made the title of her poster in Chinese writing... it says my trip to china. After all this was over... it turned out to be a lot of work but fun. She even wore a Chinese dress that I had made for a dance when Jody went back to college.. (Sad that my 10 yr old fits a dress that I wore when I was 23!)

Christmas morning

Our presents under the tree.. love the black and white!

Santa came... didn't follow the black and white theme though!

The stockings after Santa came!

Coming downstairs,

Wow!!!
Looking for the pickle!
Still looking for the pickles!

This was our tree this yr... Jody didn't find the regular lights so he used the Outdoor icicle lights... I guess they worked! They looked good when they were on... not so great when they were off. The kids still are so good about coming down stairs with their eyes closed! The pickle was hard to find this yr. Santa hid it well.... We had three this yr... as I found a baby pickle this yr at Hallmark. It was really hard to find. It took quite a while. It was a fun Christmas. Got some fun gifts.

Humiliation!!

We thought it would be fun to humiliate the dogs again this yr, so we got Piper a matching Santa outfit to match Frodo's... don't they look so happy. They loved every minute I'm sure!
