These are late but oh well. We went to the beach with our friends and had a blast! I love the water being so warm..... if I liked water I would really have loved it, LOL!!!! The kids and Jody body surfed... I stayed on the beach and made some pretty sad looking sand castles! We stayed there till dark and watched the fireworks over the water... It was a really nice day and I only burned one part of my foot!!! I am still finding sand from the trip even now!!!!

The Quilt we made to donate

Our church and surrounding organizations every year make quilts and donate them to local shelters that need them. So me and the girls made one to donate... I loved how it turned out..... Hayley didn't want to give it away cause it was so soft and comfy!!!

We had fun except Hayley had a hard time seeing and the stupid ushers wouldn't let her stand on the seat to see even though we on the last row so we wouldn't block anyone..... oh well we still had fun reliving me being 13!!!!

Chy's first day of 8th grade

Ok we went with the simple look for Chy's first day..... and everyone asked her all day why her hair wasn't cool!!!!!! We can't win.... so the next day we did a fancy hairdo.... sorry I forgot to take a pic of it!!!! But trust me it was a cool french twist!!

Hayley on the first day of 4th grade

This is what we did for the first day of school. Real subtle right!!! Hayley wanted a cool hairstyle so on Sunday night we started this.... It looked really cool... only problem was she said it was really tight on her head.... She got alot of compliments...
The next day we took out the ponytail part and bun and left the head part in... wow, I love 2 day hairdo's.

These are my new cabinets for my stuff (crap) in my sewing/craft/office! They were brown to start with.... now they are white..... I know... I wanted them black but because they are so big (almost 9 feet tall) I thought black would be too much....

Ok you will have to wait for the final pics. But here is a preview of her bed before we painted it. After doing my cabinets I went and bought an air compressor because it is so much easier with the spray gun. I just wish we hadn't done most of her headboard with the rollers first. It turned out really good!! Just wait.......

Craft we made....

This is what we made for Hayley's new teacher this week. I know your not supposed to brown nose the new teacher on the first day.... but oh well. I wanted to make this last yr and didn't have time, So I made it this yr.... I think it turned out pretty well. It was alot easier than I thought it would be and it turned out really cute. Wow, Piper has sure grown up..... ok.. not really, but she has sure changed.. she was black and white when we got her and now........well..... she is brown and white..... at least her nose is black still!! She is losing her baby hair so her back end is a little thin.

Well, this was a desk we found for Hayley's room. We got it from a lady in town for 30 dollars and I immediately wanted to paint it..... I love it white!!!!
Funny thing is we found another one for sale online for 400! Wow we did good! I'm sure there will be more to come as this was fun to see the makeover!!!
