Thanksgiving pies

These are some pics of the pies I took to our thanksgiving dinner at our friends/ward members house. The apple pie doesn't look as purty as normal as I tried a few new things..... I painted the hearts red before cooking and they burned a bit,,,, and don't put cinnamon sugar on before cooking as that also tends to burn.. The pie wasn't burnt but it looked like it was..... but it sure tasted good. And luckily my crust was flakey again this yr.... yea!
The other pic is my cranberry swirl cheesecake. It was pretty good. I liked the bit of tartness the cranberry swirl added!
